Children of HDSI had a memorable day with iCARE !!
“The ones, who are crazy enough to think that they can change the world, are the ones who do”
The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his ability to affect those around him positively. In the same way, success has nothing to do with what you gain in life or accomplish for yourself. It’s what you do for others.
Heading towards this aspiration, InfoCepts iCARE team conducted “Prerna- Shaping the future of Next Generation” at Human Development Society of India, Nagpur on 19th March, 2017. This NGO, based out of Bezonbagh, Nagpur is engaged for the betterment of more than 100 children who are from poor background and helps them with various necessities in social, educational, financial and physical aspects.
iCARE team planned the activity keeping in mind the health and educational necessities of these kids. Identifying the need for providing safe and cool drinking water during summer, the team donated a Water Dispenser to the centre. It was observed that the centre is in need of few study tables and hence the team also provided them with 6 plastic tables, so that children can study effectively by using them.
Dedication Ceremony of these facilities was conducted along with some fun activities. Firstly, few inspirational videos themed “Never Give Up!” were shown to kids, who watched them with great attention and showed their inquisitiveness towards learning new things. The children seemed very much motivated and inspired by these videos making this initiative even more fruitful.
To add some fun and joy to it, the team conducted many games for the children, who were only surprised to receive more gifts on their participation. InfoCeptians guided them and involved with them throughout the activity.
Followed by this, children were presented with Medical and Stationery Kits. iCARE also gave an additional support of 6-months stationery supplies for kids at the centre. The happiness could be seen twinkling in the eyes of these children upon spending a memorable day with iCARE.
This activity was possible only due to the unparalleled dedication of Ankita Bhattacharya, Munawer Sultana, Gaurav Doifode, Manish Makhija and Ankita Gajarlawar.
Special thanks to Dr. Micah Aiyub, Raghuvaran Pandian, Mrunal Nikam, Raju Ghuse and Swapnil Dharaskar for their assistance and support in making this entire initiative a grand success.
