It is said that creativity is as important as literacy. This was the very idea behind conceptualising “Art Attack” activity for kids at Human Development Society of India (HDSI), Bezonbagh.
iCARE team was amazed at the enthusiasm of these kids. The activity began with recital of songs by children. It was followed by the distribution of stationery kits to children as they are about to begin their new academic session. The kit contained registers, pen pouch, pencils, erasers and some craft items. Then, the team continued with their art activity in which the kids participated with full excitement and learnt to create a pen-stand using craft papers.
Along with fun and creativity, the team also screened few inspirational videos educating children about the values leading to a successful life.
The event concluded with children enjoying refreshments with iCARE Volunteers, who wished them for their success ahead.
iCARE Project team comprising of Ankita Bhattacharya, Arsala Khan, Manish Makhija, Prachi Kulkarni, Gaurav Doifode, Reema Lulla, Pratiksha Diwanji, Shivani Bhuyar and Ankita Gajarlawar worked hard for the success of this program.
