More than 350 students along with few staff from school participated in this excursion. InfoCepts iCARE Sponsored the transportation facilities for the same. The students reached the venue at 10 AM and took a tour of the Lokmat’s Printing Press Complex wherein they witnessed the actual implementation of non-conventional energy source like solar energy being used to create electricity for the printing the newspapers.

In the second half at around 2.30 PM, students were accompanied by iCARE team at the venue. The team interacted with students and got them engaged in many games and fun activities.

In the first activity, the students were divided into batches of 10 students each and were given century paper sheets on which they were asked to present their learnings of the day through drawings or write ups and quotes. The students displayed tremendous artistic skills and it was pretty clear that they understood the significance of solar energy resources and had a nice experience there. The groups with the best descriptions were given prizes.

The second activity involved the students in few fun games which they thoroughly enjoyed and the winners relished the chocolates they got at the end of the games. There were smiles and laughter throughout that kept the atmosphere around very much cheerful.

Some quizzes on general knowledge were also conducted wherein the students actively participated and showed their inquisitiveness towards learning new things.
