iCARE encourages Education by distributing School Bags and Stationeries

InfoCepts iCARE has partnered with an NGO named UPAY (Under Privileged Advancement by Youth) to set up a Reach and Teach centre at IT Park.
In the Reach and Teach centre, UPAY aims to REACH economically underprivileged children and TEACH them to sharpen basics concepts of their school subjects. They also teach life skills and help them to imbibe good habits aiming at overall growth and development of children as good citizens of our Nation.
This Reach and Teach centre is in the lane opposite to InfoCepts Nagpur, Phase 1 office besides Persistent building. Children of nearby slum area are taught here daily for couple of hours in the evening by UPAY Volunteers. InfoCeptians too are encouraged to volunteer in this education initiative.
Catering to Centre’s initial requirements and as a part of 1st handshake activity, iCARE team decided to equip these children with School bags and Stationery kits.
On Monday evening, iCARE Project team led by Piyush Kukde reached the centre along with other volunteers. The programme started with UPAY’s daily prayer followed by interaction of iCARE team with children.
Mr. Ashish Fadnavis, Manager – Finance & Accounts graced the occasion and presented school bags & stationery to kids. In his speech, Ashish appreciated iCARE & UPAY for helping and motivating underprivileged children for their educational needs. He also encouraged children to take full advantage of these facilities and build good character along with good educational qualifications.
Children thanked the entire iCARE team and InfoCepts for their noble support and also presented few group songs.
InfoCepts team comprising of Piyush Kukde, Nidhi Patel, Rujuta Gunnale, Shwetank Bharal, Sahitya Reddy, Shraddha Bhattad and Raghuvaran Pandian participated and worked whole-heartedly in this initiative adding one more feather to iCARE’s cap.
