iCARE Team Empowers Children with Rakhi Making Skills
YMCA School, Gaddigodam | Monday, 31st July 2017
“By Learning, you will Teach. By Teaching, you will Learn.”
With festive season around, a team of InfoCepts New Joiners visited YMCA School on Monday, July 31, 2017 to empower children with Rakhi Making skills. The School Staff welcomed iCARE team on their arrival, who then interacted with kids to explain them about Rakshabandhan festival and the purpose of this activity.
More than 50 Kindergarten Kids participated in this Rakhi Making Activity and learnt to prepare many decorated Rakhis under the guidance of iCARE volunteers.
The activity was a huge success as children were extremely joyful and excited to show their self-made Rakhis to everyone. All of them were able to make more than two Rakhis each, that too with good decoration and were over-joyed to take them home.
The activity concluded with distribution of education kits and refreshments to children. The education kit included basic stationeries and notebooks that will be useful to children in their sessions ahead in school.
Mr. Naresh Thorat (Project Incharge – YMCA School) expressed his gratitude to InfoCepts and iCARE team for this graceful event.
