Children’s Day Celebrated with Great Fun

At YMCA School, Gaddigodam on Tuesday, Nov 15, 2016

“Children will not remember you for the material things you provide, but for the feelings that you cherish with them!”

Children’s Day Celebration at YMCA school conducted by InfoCeptians turned out to be a huge success! Not only were the children showered with gifts, but at the same time the team strived hard to feed them with good value education.

The activity started by showing few educational videos to children that equipped them with moral as well as academic values. It was clearly visible that they enjoyed every bit of it throughout. The videos were explained to the kids by Shraddha Bhattad, Raghuvaran Pandian, Madhav Choudhary, Roshni Assudani and Ankita Bhattacharya. The kids learnt many new things from the videos like good manners, good behaviour, names of different creatures, etc.

This was followed by a colouring competition. Kids were provided with drawing sheets and color boxes and they were asked to colour the pictures on the sheets. They were helped in this activity by Micah Aiyub, Nishant Suryavanshi, Gaurav Doifode, and others. Surprisingly, these kids who are only 2-4 years of age displayed enthusiasm second to none. Most of the paintings were so good that they were to die for!

After the Colouring Competition, the iCARE Team distributed gifts to the little angels. Gifts included coloring books and coloring sets. We also offered them delicious snacks and fruit juices. The kids participated joyously in a jam session of their own in which they kept dancing and singing for hours! They really cherished the moments, and so did the entire iCARE team.

The team members worked their heart out to make this event successful. It was only the unparalleled dedication of the team that made this event so outstanding.
